THE WATERS OF PRAVAH
When the wastewater reaches Pravah, it is stored in wells and ponds and slowly percolates in the ground, mixing and contaminating existing sources.
People in Pravah say that the more the wastewater flows through open canals and mixes with groundwater in the aquifers, the more purified it becomes.
To navigate levels of water availability and contamination, people in Pravah thus fetch water from different sources to serve different purposes. They say that there are four waters in the village...
